About 2,000 people were without power Tuesday night in Marina Del Rey after a transformer failed, a Southern California Edison spokesman said.
The outage began shortly after 7:30 p.m., leaving 4,220 customers without electricity, said Paul Klein, a spokesman for the utility. Power was restored to 2,200 customers by 8 p.m.
The outage was in an area bounded by Admiralty Way on the north, Lighthouse Court on the south, Villa Marina on the West and the harbor on the east.
Klein said crews are working to restore power as soon as possible.
