Maybe you remember that moment in Russell Crowe's "Robin Hood" when your brain exploded with, "Hey, it's the guy from 'ER'!"
Now a project by Scott Grimes (that'd be the guy from "ER," a.k.a. Will Scarlet) just might have your brain screaming, "Hey, it's the guy from 'Robin Hood'!"
And for charity no less.
Crowe's cameo -- those are his kids singing with him in the car -- is just one of the Sherwood Forest faces in Grimes' music video for "Hide," a song off his second album, "Drive." "Robin Hood" costars Kevin Durand and Alan Doyle are there as well, sprinkled in among clips sent in by lip-syncing fans.
All proceeds from sales of the video -- it's on iTunes -- will benefit breast cancer research ...
... said Dave Harris, host of the "Retro Rewind" syndicated radio show, who co-wrote the tune with the sweet-voiced "Band of Brothers" veteran and co-directed his longtime friend's video.
Why this cause? Actress Maura Tierney is a recent breast cancer survivor -- and was also Grimes' costar for years on "ER."
