Inspired by Salinger's toilet -- which was listed for sale on EBay for $1 million -- Jacket Copy decided to see what other literary-ish items are currently for sale on the site. What we discovered? The doozy dozen. The first of our 12 favorite non-book literary oddities currently for sale is the Russian Ernest Hemingway lapel pin. The Cyrillic text really does say Ernest Hemingway.

The 1949 Hi-Life yearbook, from, I think, Shillington High School in Pennsylvania. John Updike is pictured twice; he would graduate in 1950. The seller also lists yearbooks that include authors Toni Morrison and Raymond Carver, singer Tom Waits and actress Sigourney Weaver.
