Paris Hilton can often be found in bars, but Friday night in Las Vegas she found herself behind bars for alleged cocaine possession. The heiress was a passenger in a black Cadillac Escalade near the Wynn Hotel which reportedly reeked so much of marijuana that Las Vegas police noticed and were forced to pull the vehicle over. Inside with Hilton was her boyfriend, Cy Waits, who just this week was heralded for holding a knife-wielding trespasser at bay with a gun at Hilton's Los Angeles home.
While Hilton was arrested for drug possession after authorities discovered what appeared to be a small amount of cocaine, Waits was busted for drug-related DUI.
Those leaving comments on LA Now and The Ministry of Gossip have been less than forgiving in light of the fact that this is not the first time Hilton has been locked up, and just recently while in South Africa she was accused of drug possession.
"she is just getting grosser and grosser every year," ken commented.
"Yea but she was just carrying it for somebody else, right? I mean - it wasn't REALLY hers . . . lol," joked All Hallows Eve.
"Why do Hilton and Lohan just keep getting off? Isn't anyone in the justice system getting just a mite embarrassed?" asked Baffled Observer.
"It's a really good thing she will never have to get a job because all these arrests look bad on your resume." noted waterlily1.
"Drug possession shouldn't be a crime anyway," said Mike.
So what's your take? Clearly not everything that happens in Vegas stays there, but should Hilton, if she is found guilty, be sent into a Vegas jail and stay there without any of the early releases that so many celebs (including herself) have been privy to?
