Two bank robbers used an unusual team approach Saturday to rob a bank inside a grocery store in El Cajon, the FBI said.
The two simultaneously approached two adjoining tellers at the US Bank inside the Albertsons grocery store on Broadway in the San Diego suburb. Each threatened to shoot the teller unless they received money.
The two received money and walked out of the bank. No weapon was seen.
One robber is described as about 40 years old, 6- to 6-foot-2, 180 pounds, with dark hair and a mustache. The second is slightly younger but approximately the same height and weight. He appeared to have a tattoo on his neck and deep acne scars, the FBI said.
