The Twitter-verse has spoken. As previously announced, Jimmy Fallon sought the help of tweeters everywhere to help him introduce a few Emmy presenters. And the tweets came flooding in, apparently. But who knew the usernames would be so … uh, colorful: @cheesehead1976 and @hambugerhelpster? Brilliant.
When it came time for Fallon to announce Jim Parsons and Sofia Vergara as presenter of writing for a comedy series, we learned that sometimes repetition is crucial --especially during these pesky award shows. It’s hard to concentrate with all those couture frocks … and with Don Draper, er, Jon Hamm, lurking nearby.
So with Sophia Vergara about to take the stage, one Twitter user thought the only introduction needed for the “Modern Family” starlet was: “She is beautiful. She is beautiful … and I also think she is beautiful.”
We're guessing a few men out there might agree.
