Man arrested in West Hollywood triple homicide [Updated]

A 31-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a triple homicide in West Hollywood last week, authorities said Monday evening.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department identified the suspect in the slaying of three men as Harold Yong Park. [Updated 7:23 p.m.: Park lives in east Hollywood and was arrested at 11 a.m. Monday without incident after a traffic stop in an area patrolled by the Lomita sheriff's station, Lt. Pat. Nelson said.

Nelson said Park was in possession of multiple pounds of marijuana when arrested. "It is believed the marijuana may have been taken by Park from the West Hollywood apartment following the murders," Nelson said.

No motive for the slayings has been established. Park was booked on suspicion of murder and was being held at the Lomita sheriff's station.]

The shootings occurred about 9:15 p.m. Thursday at an apartment in the 600 block of North Kings Road, the Sheriff's Department said. The victims were pronounced dead at the scene.

They  were identified as Pirooz Moussazadeh, 27; his brother, Shahriar Moussazadeh, 38; and Bernard Khalili, 27.
