TBS has just announced the title of Conan O'Brien's new late-night show. It's plain and simple: "Conan."
"I’m just using 'Conan' and dropping the 'O’Brien' because I want to get away from the whole Irish thing," the comic said in a news release.
On Twitter, where he announced that the title would be made public Wednesday, he added: "The words 'Tonight' and 'Show' aren't on it."
[Updated at 10:41 a.m.: Wanna watch O'Brien announce the title himself? "Conan," which is "simple, pure like the man himself," premieres on Nov. 8.]
