Things are slowly getting back to normal at Los Angeles International Airport after three terminals were temporarily shut down Saturday morning because of a security snafu.
[Updated 10:22 a.m.: Airport officials say that only Terminal 8 of the airport, a single terminal, was closed down Saturday morning.]
The Transportation Security Administration shut down the terminals after discovering one of the exits was not being guarded.
By 7 a.m., the terminals were open again. An LAX spokeswoman told KTLA News that eight flights were slightly delayed.
The TSA is now reviewing videotape to figure out how long the exit went unguarded.
A TSA spokesman told the Associated Press that an officer discovered about 4:30 a.m. that an exit from one of the terminals was unguarded.
